Testronics Model 402 Very High Pin Count
Level IV Backplane / Backpanel Electrical Test System

RICHARDSON, TEXAS -- The trend in backplane / backpanel manufacturing is to build larger and more dense assemblies. Even today, backplanes with 40,000 test points are not uncommon. To ensure that Testronics maintains its leadership position as the premier supplier of backplane testers, we will be introducing our solution to testing high pin count / very large backplanes, the Model 402.

Specific details:

• 61,440 total test point capacity
• Tests backplanes up to 54" x 60" in one pass / one fixture
• Test time of a 40k point backplane is less than 2 minutes
• Compatibility with existing Testronics Model 401 fixtures
• Uses existing Model 401 Electronics and Model 401 Software for proven reliability and compatibility
• Maintains true 6 wire, non-multiplexed switch matrix
• Simple in-field expansion with 5,120 point plug in grid modules
